Welcome to our Community!

The Community School is a unique preschool located in the Park Cities close to SMU in Dallas, Texas.  We offer full time and part time care for children ages 6 weeks through five years old.  We also offer care for school aged children during the summer.  The Philosophy of The Community School is that children learn most through exploration of their environment.  A multi-sensory environment rich in sights, sounds and textures, both soothing and stimulating nurtures a child's creativity and sense of self worth.  The Community School achieves this environment through a child and family centered approach to early childhood education utilizing developmentally appropriate practice.  We offer low ratios and a homelike environment.  Please come visit us!  We offer open tours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10 a.m.
