Melanie Rudebeck, Executive Director
Education: Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood from Colorado State University

Certificate:
Teacher Certification in Texas In EC-4th grade from Texas A&M Commerce

Career: Melanie graduated from Higland Park High School and went on to attend Colorado State University in For Collins Colorado. After graduating from Colorado State, she began working as a preschool teacher at the Park Cities YMCA and later taught at Callier Child Development Preschool. She moved on to to become an Education Specialist for Head Start of Greater Dallas where she trained teachers. She served as Assistant Director at Highland Park United Methodist Church for a few years and then went on to become the Director of The ChildCareGroup at The Salvation Army Center in Irving. Melanie has worked at The Community School of the Park Cities for six years and has been the Director for three years. Melanie is involved in Delta Kappa Gamma, a teaching society and Highland Park Presbyterian Church. She is married to John and has two young sons who attend The Community School.


Kate McMillan, Assistant Director
Education: Southern Methodist University with a degree in Psychology

Career: "
I have been with CSPC for five and a half years. I currently work in the administration office, and also taught for three years in the infant rooms. I have always had a love for children and I am lucky enough to build a relationship with them and their parents. My favorite thing about teaching is watching each child grow over the years.”











Ramona Randal, Education Coordinator

Education: Associates degree in Art from Dallas County Community College and I'm currently finishing up my Bachelor of Science in Child Learning and Development in the spring of 2012 from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Career: "I have worked with young children professionally for 27 years and I have worked at the Community School for the past three years. I love working with young children. I also have a deep commitment to help other early childhood professionals and parents to understand what it takes to foster a child’s growth and development. My favorite thing about working with young children is to see the enormous change they go through in such a short period of time."
